The Killers Live @ Hull


Went to see The Killers at the Hull Ice Arena last night and it was easily one of the best concert I have ever been to. Both myself and Phil Hutchinson agreed it was such a small venue for a massive band as The Killers. When we walked into the arena, we were amazed to be able to walk right to the front, even though it was full. We decided to stand about 40 feet back, as we are getting on a bit and thought the 'mosh pit' at our age was a bit daunting! The ferformance was out of this world, it was only spoilt by some pissed up morons stumbling next to us. I had to keep putting on my blue UN helmet and stopping fights. One annoyed women took a flying kick at one of them! I think the smell of dope drifting around the arena eventually calmed them down.
